   Occurred

   Neck fracture sustained in a tackle (Frampton) in Round 13 vs Collingwood (King's Birthday) — temporarily lost feeling in his limbs and was stretchered off; scans confirmed a cervical fracture. Underwent surgery on 9 June, reported by the club as successful.

   Surgery / rehab

   Underwent surgery on a fractured neck sustained in the Round 13 King's Birthday incident; the club reported the procedure went as planned and that he is up and walking.

   Reassessment

   Confirmed as an unstable cervical fracture — transient loss of feeling in the limbs and surgery on 8 June point to spinal instability rather than a stable, conservatively-managed break.
